Streaking Reliables Win Another One, 11-9
The Rakisuta Rams got a superb performance from left fielder Go Yagi, but the Hosho Reliables still won the game, 11-9. Yagi went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Junya Yamagata earned the save for Hosho, his 1st of the year. The Reliables have now reeled off 6 straight wins.

Hosho used the clutch hitting of Hank Dunham to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Reliables the lead, 7-6. For the game, Dunham had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"I like the roll we're on," said Hosho manager Shun Kawamura.
