| Rams Drop Reliables, 7-3 | Led by Shouta Fukushima, the Rakisuta Rams defeated the Hosho Reliables, 7-3. Fukushima went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for the Rams. Yoshimatsu Shiina picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits, while walking 5 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 8-5. Rakisuta now owns a record of 39-42.
Fukushima had a key at-bat for Rakisuta in the bottom of the second. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and gave Rakisuta an early 2-0 lead.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Fukushima told the Rakisuta Daily News.
