| Rams Win at Home, 3-1 | Rakisuta Rams starter Morihiro Arakaki turned in an exceptional performance against the Hosho Reliables at Rakisuta Stadium, resulting in a Rakisuta win, 3-1. The winning pitcher was Arakaki, now 10-7. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 5 and fanning 6. Kiyoshige Abe got the save, his 3rd in 6 chances.
Had Seisaku Nishimura not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Nishimura hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Rams.
Rakisuta manager Bob Lester praised his team's "energy."
