With shortstop Hideharu Nomura leading the charge, the Rakisuta Rams defeated the Denki Dynamics, 5-4, at Rakisuta Stadium. Nomura, who is tied for 8th in the EL in home runs with 12, went 2 for 5 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The win belonged to Yoshimatsu Shiina in relief. His record improves to 6-2. Yoshiharu Miyagi took the loss for Denki. The Rams now have a record of 37-39 with the win over Denki.

The decisive blow was delivered by Seisuke Kamo in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Yoshiharu Miyagi to win the game for Rakisuta. The home crowd went nuts.

"Our team showed some spunk," said Kamo.
