| Rakisuta Rocks Yokohama, 11-2 | The Rakisuta Rams had no problem beating the Yokohama Kingfishers, 11-2, at Kanagawa Stadium. Teiljo Otani led the way. He was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 4 for Rakisuta. The loss makes Yokohama 37-30.
Rakisuta took advantage of an error in the top of the sixth inning. The game was tied, 2-2, when Toshinori Ito hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Rams in front, 4-2.
"We took it on the chin tonight," said losing manager Tommy McDonell.
