| Rams Earn 7-4 Home Win | The Rakisuta Rams besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Denki first baseman Mitsuhisa Nakasone by beating the Dynamics, 7-4, at Rakisuta Stadium. Nakasone went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Masakado Matsuda earned the win to go to 6-4. He allowed 4 runs on 8 hits, with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts in 8.2 innings of work. Rakisuta has won 3 straight, while Denki has lost 3 in a row.
Seisaku Nishimura had a big 2-run double for the Rams in the bottom of the second inning. With Rakisuta leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Tom Hodges and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 21st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rams ahead, 4-0.
"Winning never gets dull," said Nishimura.
