Rakisuta Stadium played host to some high drama.

Rakisuta Rams starter Shigeyoshi Taira pitched well against the Denki Dynamics at Rakisuta Stadium, leading his team to a win, 2-1. Rakisuta reliever Sadato Hayakawa got the win, raising his record to 3-2. Shinichi Kanehara was tagged with the loss.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Rakisuta right fielder Seisuke Kamo, facing Shinichi Kanehara, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Rams the 2-1 win.

"We had a hellacious effort," said Rams manager Kinzo Yoshimura. "We hung in there and hung in there."

The 4th-place Rams have a record of 25-34.
