| Kingfishers Deal Bears 7-3 Loss | Yokohama starter Kakuro Watanabe pitched well against the Sapporo Bears at Sapporo Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-3. Watanabe, now 6-0, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 4, and allowing 3 runs. The win has Yokohama at 23-37.
