| Dynamics Suffer 6-4 Home Loss | Behind a solid performance from shortstop Ritsuki Iwasa, the Denki Dynamics defeated the Yokohama Kingfishers, 6-4. Iwasa went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Dynamics. Picking up the win was Hisao Ibe. He went 6.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits. The right--hander struck out 4 and walked 3. The victory puts Denki at 18-29.
Denki center fielder Godai Matsumoto contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the third. With two down, he hit a curveball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 21st hit of the season and put the Dynamics ahead, 4-0.
"Enjoyed this one," Matsumoto told the Denki Observer. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
