| Dynamics Down Kingfishers, 3-1 | Tsuneari Nakai pitched a gem to lead Denki to victory over the Yokohama Kingfishers, 3-1. The third-place Dynamics bumped their record to 28-22.
Shigeru Ishida went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Denki. With two out and the game tied in the top of the seventh inning, Ishida, who is tied for 7th in the EL in hits with 52, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Yokohama hurler NorogumiOda Tominaga, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to give the Dynamics a 2-1 lead.
"Tsuneari was good -- real good," said Dynamics manager Carl Johnson.
