| Reliables Done In By Rams, 6-3 | The Rakisuta Rams picked up a win at Rakisuta Stadium, downing the Hosho Reliables, 6-3. On the mound for Rakisuta was right-hander Yoshimatsu Shiina, who played a pivotal role in the win. The winner was Rakisuta reliever Gunji Matsuda, now 2-5. The loser was Naruto Noda. The loss makes Hosho 36-16.
With two out in the bottom of the seventh, Takanori Matsui had a game-changing hit. The Rams second baseman slammed a run-scoring single off Naruto Noda, making the score 5-3, Rakisuta.
"Today was a lot of fun," said Matsui.
