| Dynamics Win at Rakisuta, 4-1 | The Denki Dynamics got a rain-soaked win over the Rakisuta Rams.
Kinya Wada pitched well, but the Rakisuta Rams still lost the game, falling, 4-1, to the Denki Dynamics at Rakisuta Stadium. Denki pitcher Herm Brooks got the win. He's now 4-5. Kinya Wada was tagged with the loss.
Yuuichi Oki, who finished 4th in the EL in hits with 148 in 1971, had a direct impact on the outcome. Oki contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put Denki up, 2-0.
Oki called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
The win lifted the Denki record to 23-23.
