| Rams Send Denki Home with 8-3 Loss | A good performance from catcher Kuranosuke Imakake helped the Rakisuta Rams defeat the Denki Dynamics, 8-3. Imakake was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Rams. Kinichi Harada got the win, improving to 4-3. He pitched 8.2 innings, giving up 13 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Gunji Matsuda finished the game for Rakisuta and earned his 8th save.
Rakisuta grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Imakake hit a 2-run double off Takehiro Moriyama. His 3rd double of the season put the Rams out in front, 5-3.
Said Denki manager Carl Johnson: "They did a lot of things right. We did a lot of things wrong."
The win for the Rams lifted their record to 23-22.
