| Victory Pushes Rams Record to 21-19 | Rakisuta starter Kinichi Harada pitched well against the Kyoto Owls at Rakisuta Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. Harada got the win, improving to 3-3. He gave up 7 hits and walked 2 over 6 innings. He allowed 3 runs. With the win over Kyoto, the Rams improved to 21-19.
Motokuni Nakamura drove in one run for Rakisuta. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Norikazu Takai. It was his 5th RBI of the season.
Harada called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
