Despite a fine performance by center fielder Sukeichi Jimbo, the Denki Dynamics lost to the Yokohama Kingfishers, 8-6. Jimbo went 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. Taishi Yoshimura recorded his 6th save for Yokohama. The win has Yokohama at 15-25.

Kazuomi Hirata came through with a big-time hit for Yokohama. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 8-6. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Kingfishers manager Johnny Ruby. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
