| Dynamics Trounce Kingfishers, 14-3 | The Denki Dynamics handed the Yokohama Kingfishers a sound defeat, 14-3, at Kanda Stadium. Minehiro Onishi, who is a two-time All-Star, was a main contributor to the win. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for Denki. The triumph makes Denki 9-24.
Denki shortstop Ritsuki Iwasa contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 28th hit of the season and put the Dynamics ahead, 3-0.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Onishi.
