Daijiro Sato knocked in 4 runs to help Yokohama beat Sapporo, 7-5. The shortstop collected 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. The loss lowers the Sapporo record to 9-5.
With Yokohama leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Sato hit a curveball from Seikichi Nagamatsu for a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Kingfishers ahead, 5-0.
"We took home the win," said Sato. "What's not to like?"
