Kennedy Helps Foresters Beat Stars, 10-7
Cleveland took on Los Angeles in front of a lively crowd.

The Cleveland Foresters trumped the Los Angeles Stars, 10-7, at Bigsby Stadium. Cleveland catcher Hal Kennedy was terrific. He went 4 for 4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Cleveland reliever Johnny Ogden picked up the win, upping his record to 4-3. Hank Myer took the loss.

Cleveland needed the clutch hitting of John Low to notch the win. The shortstop hammered a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Foresters on top, 8-7. For the game, Low had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Kennedy.

Cleveland improves to 50-26 with the win. They lead their division by 5 games.
