| Quigley Records 1-0 Shutout Against Cincinnati | Hugh Quigley was in a mood to talk following the Cleveland Foresters contest against the Cincinnati Monarchs, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Monarchs, 1-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Quigley said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked Cincinnati on a 3-hitter, allowing 4 walks and racking up 4 strikeouts.
