Butler Sends Tacoma Bats to Deep Freeze
Portland Foresters hurler Lou Butler logged a 4-hit, complete game shutout over the Browns, stopping them, 8-0, at Pacific Avenue Field.

"I felt great out there," Butler said in his postgame interview. "After the second or third inning, I got real comfortable. Hopefully this is a building block for me. I'd love a few more starts like this."

He rung up 4 strikeouts and gave up no walks in the performance.

Checking out his stats for the season, Butler has racked up 27 wins and 25 losses in 57 starts, posted a 2.33 ERA, and struck out 251 batters in 490.2 innings.
