| Los Angeles Shuts Out Tacoma Behind White, 4-0 | Roy White of the Los Angeles Saints shut out the Tacoma Browns, 4-0, at Saints Park, holding them to 1 hit with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts.
Pressed for comments on his club's defeat, Tacoma skipper Charley Pritchett called the outing from White "a jewel."
"The way White was pitching, it would have been tough for anyone to beat him," he said.
