Los Angeles Knights starter George Kyle turned in a top-notch performance against the Seattle Thunderbirds at Thunderbird Park. The result was a win for the Knights, 3-2. Kyle went the distance for Los Angeles. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. The 7th-place Knights are 47-55.

Los Angeles used a well-timed hit by Les Hendrix to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Knights ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

Hendrix told a Los Angeles Bulletin reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
