Kings Take Tight Tangle
In a tight tilt between the Seattle Kings and the San Francisco Sailors, Bill Harris was the deciding factor. The Seattle right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. The loss drops San Francisco to 1-2.

Seattle used the timely hitting of Mike Griffith to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Kings on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Harris told the Seattle Citizen. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
