| Montreal Silences Baltimore, 5-0 | In an impressive outing, Paul Dexter blanked the Baltimore Clippers 5-0.
"I'm getting a lot more downward movement instead of side to side. That side-to-side stuff can get hit a long way," said Dexter, who is throwing with more of an overhand motion.
"It's not rocket science. It was just a little adjustment, but that's all it took."
The Montreal hurler held Baltimore scoreless, allowed 3 hits, chalked up 5 strikeouts and yielded 2 walks.
In 46 starts this season, Dexter has recorded a 28-19 record and a 2.38 ERA. | |
