| Pioneers Win Streak Now at 6 After 5-3 Victory | The St. Louis Pioneers picked up a win at Pioneer Field III, knocking off the Philadelphia Keystones, 5-3. Starting pitcher Billy Hasson played a key role in the triumph. The Pioneers, now 65-33, have won 6 in a row.
In the bottom of the fifth, St. Louis third baseman Steve Schultz had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Schultz stroked a 2-run single to left. It made the score 4-1, St. Louis. For the game, he went 1-4, while adding 2 RBI.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Hasson said.
