The Chicago Chiefs bumped off the Minneapolis Millers, 9-3, at Hennepin County Stadium. Ricardo Castillo hit 3 singles and 1 double. He also had 3 runs batted in. Chicago reliever Frank Carmichael was the winner. His record is now 4-3. The losing pitcher was Daryl Woods. Chicago is now 44-44.
