| New York Beaten, 4-2, by Philadelphia | Getting an impressive start from Billy Hasson, Philadelphia beat New York by the score of 4-2. With the victory, the Keystones record stands at 39-44.
Philadelphia used the timely hitting of Pete Morris to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Keystones on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
New York manager Charlie Foley said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
