| Kings Flatten Cougars, 9-4 | The first-place Seattle Kings picked up another win.
The Seattle Kings beat the Chicago Cougars, 9-4, at Seattle Municipal Stadium. The win was due in part to third baseman Jack Lucas, who was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Seattle.
Starting Pitcher Moe Lowery made an impact for Seattle, when he swatted a 2-run double off Pug White in the bottom of the second. For the contest, Lowery threw 7.0 innings allowing 4 runs.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Lucas said after the game. | |
