| Keystones Stick Minutemen with 7-5 Loss | A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Philadelphia Keystones and Boston Minutemen.
Billy Hasson, who led the FA in innings pitched with 256.0 in 1961, propelled his team to victory over the Boston Minutemen. The final score was 7-5, Philadelphia. Buzz Lucas recorded his 1st save for Philadelphia.
Philadelphia used the stroke of Andy Parker to get the win. The third baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Keystones ahead, 6-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it did its damage.
Parker said afterward that he was glad to help his team win.
The Keystones are now 39-39.
