| Weston Tames Saints | New York Imperials starter Howie Weston turned in a top-notch performance against the Montreal Saints at Dyckman Stadium. The result was a win for the Imperials, 4-1. Stan Boone earned the save, his 3rd. With the win, the Imperials improved to 42-34.
The Saints had trouble solving Weston, who surrendered 1 run on 3 hits over 8.2 innings.
