The Kansas City Kings picked up a win at Prairie Park, topping the Montreal Saints, 6-2. On the mound for Kansas City was right-hander Gordon McDonald. He played a principal role in the triumph. McDonald, now 6-3, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 5, walking 4, and allowing 2 runs. The Kings, at 58-56, sit in 5th place in the Continental Association.

The Kings got a big at-bat from third baseman Ken Newman, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a 2-run double. It was his 19th double of the season and put the Kings on top, 5-2.
