| Imperials Roll to 8-1 Win Over Cannons | The New York Imperials defeated the Cincinnati Cannons, 8-1, at Tice Memorial Stadium II. Willie Dieter produced 2 singles and 1 double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Ernie Tisdale, the winner, goes to 1-2. He allowed 1 run on 9 hits, with 4 walks and 5 strikeouts over 6.1 innings. The Imperials, now 5-19, have not found much traction so far in 1962.
