Sailors Earn Win with Late Rally
The San Francisco Sailors picked up a win at Golden Gate Stadium, knocking off the Seattle Kings, 4-3. On the mound for San Francisco was right-hander Jim Teal. He played a key role in the triumph. At 36-42, the Sailors claim 4th place in the Continental Association West.

Ron Turner was the walk-off hero for San Francisco. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Sailors pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"You've got to ride the highs and the lows in baseball in order to succeed," Teal told the San Francisco Times. "Right now I'm feeling good, but that don't mean squat for tomorrow."
