Saints Win, 6-5, at Cleveland
The rain could not keep the home crowd from enjoying a good ballgame.

The Cleveland Foresters could not turn a fine performance from second baseman Stan Kleminski into a win. Instead, the Montreal Saints prevailed, 6-5. Kleminski was 4 for 5 with 4 singles. At 42-66, Montreal is in last place in the Continental Association.

Montreal used a timely hit from Art Robbins to get the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Saints ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Good to pick up this win," Robbins said.
