Chicago Chiefs starter Nate Carr was dealing, as his team thumped the Minneapolis Millers, 9-0. The 5th-place Chiefs go to 28-47.

With Chicago leading 2-0 in the top of the fifth, Carr hit a 2-run single off Minneapolis hurler Pete Jones. It was the 5th hit of the season for Carr and put his team ahead, 4-0.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Carr.
