Keystones Earn 4-3 Win Against Miners | The Philadelphia Keystones did just enough to nip the Pittsburgh Miners, 4-3, in 11 innings. Philadelphia pitcher William Davis, in particular, had a standout performance. The second-place Keystones lifted their record to 63-42.
The Keystones got a clutch hit from first baseman Turk Ramsey. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Keystones.
Ramsey told a Philadelphia Today reporter that he felt "euphoric" after the win. | |
