| Cannons Upend Saints, 3-0 | The Cincinnati Cannons rode a solid performance from 22-year-old starting pitcher Red Cunningham to a win, beating the Montreal Saints, 3-0, at Stade Montreal. The Cannons raised their record to 9-5.
In the bottom of the seventh, Moses Mundy stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Saints were trailing 3-0, but had runners on 1st and 3rd. That's when Hal Adams made a terrific pitch and Mundy grounded out. Gone was the dream of a Montreal comeback.
