| Keystones Pull Out Late Win, 3-2 | In a low-scoring contest between the Philadelphia Keystones and the New York Gothams, Jorge Arellano was the X factor. The Philadelphia left-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Alfredo Jimenez was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 4 of 6 save opportunities. The Keystones now have a record of 32-35 with the win over New York.
Lew Davison went 1-3 with a walk for Philadelphia. The 27-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Charlie French. It was his 51st walk of the season.
"I was able to change speeds effectively tonight," said Arellano.
