Butch Abrams Blanks San Francisco, 4-0 | Dallas Wranglers pitcher Butch Abrams blanked the San Francisco Sailors, 4-0, at Norris Stadium, tossing a 6-hitter while issuing 1 walk and collecting no strikeouts.
After his sharp shutout performance, he shared credit with the rest of the club.
"I was just locked in out there and some of that is due to having a catcher who has such a great feel for hitters," Abrams said. "I couldn't do what I did without all the guys out there today."
