| Gilman, Saints Beat Wolves, 9-3 | Behind a solid performance from third baseman Andy Gilman, the Montreal Saints defeated the Toronto Wolves, 9-3. Gilman went 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Saints. Jerry Duncan earned the win for Montreal. He lasted 6.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 1-1. The Saints raised their record to 2-5.
In the top of the third, Gilman had a 2-run double for Montreal. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Saints on top, 2-0.
