A 3-RBI performance from Howard Smith, who is a two-time Diamond Defense Award winner, helped the Atlanta Copperheads beat the Philadelphia Keystones, 7-2. Atlanta now sits at 44-24, while Philadelphia falls to 33-32.

Atlanta used the clutch hitting of Don Riley to snag the win. The first baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Copperheads ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Smith.
