| Wranglers Win 3-2 Walk-Off | The Dallas Wranglers took Chicago pitcher Roger Alford's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Norris Stadium. The final score had Dallas getting past the Cougars, 3-2. Alford went 8 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 2. Asbury Ashmore, now 2-6, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. The decisive blow was delivered by Nick Parker in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a solo home run off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Leroy Williams to win the game for Dallas. The home crowd went nuts.
"It was terrific getting this win," Parker said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
