Stogner Shines in 6-5 Milwaukee Win
Jim Stogner left his imprint on the 6-5 Milwaukee win against the Los Angeles Stars. Stogner, who is tied for 2nd in the CA in runs scored with 45, hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Red Burtch earned the win for Milwaukee. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 6-2. Jim Hart notched his 7th save of the season.

Stogner had a key at-bat for Milwaukee in the bottom of the first. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 18th home run of the season and gave Milwaukee an early 2-0 lead.

"Whenever you can come through for your ball club, it's a great thing," said Stogner.

The first-place Arrows now have a record of 38-26.
