Boston Minutemen starter Bob Green found his groove in his team's 4-3 win over the Minneapolis Millers. Picking up his 6th save was 33-year old left-handed pitcher Steve Talley. Boston has now won 3 in a row.

Boston used the timely hitting of Sal Nigro to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Minutemen on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

After the game, Boston manager Bill Freeman applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
