Wolves Prevail, 6-4, Over Dallas | The Toronto Wolves beat the Dallas Wranglers, 6-4, at Dominion Stadium. The Wolves got a fine performance from right fielder Ed Savage, who was 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Reliever Sam Haygood picked up the win. His record improves to 3-1. Rex Conner took the loss. The save went to Jimmy Pepper, number 1 for him.
In the bottom of the third, Savage had a 2-run home run for Toronto. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Wolves on top, 3-1.
"Been a rough stretch for us," said Dallas manager Tom Aiello.
