Rogers Helps Kings Defeat Foresters, 10-7
Charlie Rogers made an impact in the 10-7 Kansas City win over Cleveland. Rogers, who led the CA in hits with 230 in 1951, went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. The win went to Del Lamb in relief, making him now 5-4. Lynn Horn took the loss for Cleveland. Kansas City sits in third place in the Continental Association at 46-41.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Rogers delivered big-time for Kansas City, stroking a dramatic 2-run double off Lynn Horn. The game-changing hit put the Kings on top, 7-5.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Rogers.
