| Minutemen Beaten By Suns, 4-3 | Fans watched the Los Angeles Suns and the Boston Minutemen fight to the finish.
Los Angeles first baseman Russ Hawkins had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Boston Minutemen, 4-3. Los Angeles reliever Alex Vaughan was the winner. His record is now 3-0. The losing pitcher was Andy Logue.
Hawkins contributed in the bottom of the first. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Los Angeles get the win.
"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Hawkins told the Los Angeles Chronicle.
At 28-36, Los Angeles is in 7th place in the Federal Association.
