| Cougars Rip Toronto, 11-2 | The Chicago Cougars scored a convincing win at Cougars Park, defeating the Toronto Wolves, 11-2. One of the hitting stars was Charlie Sanders, who is tied for 7th in the CA in RBI with 34, who was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The win puts Chicago at 32-26 this season.
With Chicago leading 4-0 in the bottom of the sixth, Sanders came up to bat against Toronto pitcher Harry Street. Sanders hit a cutter to left-center for a grand slam home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Cougars on top, 8-0.
"It's always fun to score a lot of runs," said Sanders.
