| Frost goes 3-for-4 in Mavericks Win | Kansas City catcher Bobby Frost had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Toronto Wolves, 8-6. Kansas City starter Orville Johnson was credited with the win after throwing 106 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 5-7. The win has Kansas City at 21-36.
With Kansas City leading 3-0 in the bottom of the third, Frost hit a fastball from Gary Preston for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Mavericks ahead, 6-0.
"Just trying to keep things simple and helping the team win any way I can," Frost told a local reporter after the game.
