| Keystones Beaten By Millers, 6-4 | Minneapolis and Philadelphia duked it out and the Millers came out victorious.
The Minneapolis Millers had to overcome a big game from Philadelphia third baseman Lloyd Coulter to leave Broad Street Park II with a victory. And they did, winning, 6-4. Coulter slugged 2 home runs. The loss lowers the Philadelphia record to 12-10.
Minneapolis used a clutch at-bat from Cecil Cummings to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Millers ahead, 5-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Cummings.
