Houston defeated Detroit, 6-2, in large part due to 30-year old right fielder Del Goodell. Goodell drove in 3 runs. The right fielder had 1 double and 1 home run for the Comets. Harry Taylor earned the save for Houston, his 1st. With the win, the Comets sit at 29-14.
