Year Ends for Hank White in Little Rock
Tuesday, September 10th , 1974
The doctors have spoken and Hank White of the Little Rock Governors didn't like what he heard. The 24-year-old closer is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. White sustained his season-ending injury during the New Orleans Showboats game yesterday at Toledo Tornado Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Little Rock medical staff reported White had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 6 months.

This season, White has been credited with no saves. In 7 relief appearances and 8 innings pitched he has a 0-0 won-lost mark, 15.75 ERA and 3 strikeouts
