At Capitol Field, the Indianapolis Hoosiers second baseman burned Little Rock pitching, going 5-for-5 in the 6-1 Indianapolis triumph. "When he's on his game," Indianapolis skipper Billy Roberts told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Joe Barrett singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 9th.
