 | Galbraith Tames Buffalo Thursday, August 3rd , 1916 Pete Galbraith of the Hartford Colts humiliated the Buffalo Lake Captains at Charter Oak Grounds, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 6 hits. "He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Buffalo manager Walter Bunting, after the game. Galbraith whiffed 4 and walked 2 in the 5-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Galbraith said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." In 29 starts this season, Galbraith has recorded 11 wins and absorbed 15 losses.
