"He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," St. Joseph skipper Michael Bliss said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders." On the day, the left-handed Kriner yielded 9 hits and tallied 5 strikeouts with 1 walk.
