He hammered the St. Paul Crusaders for 5 hits to help Fort Wayne win, 19-7, over St. Paul at Fort Wayne Grounds. Tom Thompson tripled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
