 | Bailey Reaches 1000 Milestone Friday, September 15th , 1893 It took quite a few years to do it, but Bob Bailey finally did it. The Red Caps first baseman swatted hit #1000 this afternoon at Maumee Park, but still came up short in the victory column. The Toledo Tornados came away with a 6-4 win over Indianapolis. Bailey was 1-for-3 in the loss. In his career, Bailey is batting .349 with 1000 hits, 118 home runs, 620 runs scored and 587 RBIs. |   |
